Humanity has already become acquainted with 3D printing as an engine of fashionable progress. But the great monster of technical revolutions is not standing still either. He captures the minds and uses them in the name of Good and Art. The result is something so beautiful that it is hard to believe that it was created by a man and a robot working hand in hand.
A giant geometric sculpture made of metal balls - now artistic thoughts look exactly like this. Sculpture titled Geometric Death Frequency-141 ', as we already understood, was created by man with the help of robots. More precisely, even - robotic arms. The huge living "pool of death" 50 by 20 feet consists entirely of glued metal spheres. This creation is so complex technically that only robots were entrusted with the fastening of its components.
This monster of an artificial genius was created by a designer Federico Díaz (Frederico Diaz) for the exhibition-competition - exhibition of the Massachusetts Museum of Modern Art in North Adams. Using a computer-aided design system, he wrote a program that controls robotic arms. Initially, Frederico drew a wireframe of his work in a 3D modeling program, using separate spherical objects to represent fluid matter. Then he combined robots and the principle of 3D printing into a single whole and he got this masterpiece.
