A nest of storks ascending into the sky, a lizard basking on a stone or a praying mantis lurking in anticipation of a victim … in nature such a picture can be found only with great luck. The master of park sculpture Alexander Bezruchko preserves these fleeting scenes by sculpting sculptures, giving everyone a wonderful unity with wildlife. All compositions are made of metal, but there is not even a trace of heaviness in them - the figures breathe movement, lightness and life.
Blacksmithing has always been the lot of talented people. It was in it that the Dnipropetrovsk artist Alexander Bezruchko found his calling. Creating a forged park sculpture requires very non-trivial abilities: in addition to the gift of feeling and presenting beauty, you need to remember that it will become a part of a much larger architectural and landscape ensemble. And this can be seen in every figure created by Alexander.
Metal is often represented as the antipode of life - dead, cold and insensitive, but after passing through the hands of the master, each piece of metal of which the sculpture is composed will absorb the spirit of the work (how incredibly iron transforms in sculptures by Park Chan-girl or wire in crumbling sculptures by Tomohiro Inaba). Having assumed its unique shape, cold steel will sparkle with all the colors of life.
Bezruchko began working with metal only in recent years, but the level of skill he achieved is incredibly high. Among his works are not only park sculptures, but also table figurines, relief scenes, original interior elements and even weathercocks. No wonder his surname is easily associated with the famous Lefty! But the filigree work of a blacksmith, in addition to talent, also requires great physical strength. The artist's blog site contains reproductions of his best works.
