For those who want to feel trapped in a spider's web or get lost in a weightless labyrinth in the very center of Paris, an unusual interactive installation is presented Tape Paris … Visitors dive into the depths of translucent tunnels and find themselves in a completely different world!
The installation was created by a group of designers Numen / For Use … For their mini-labyrinth, they used the most common duct tape, scotch tape, and stretched suspended tunnels throughout the huge hall, attaching them to the columns and the ceiling. The entire composition took 44 kilometers of tape, and 10 people participated in its creation. As a result of more than a week of work, the structure turned out to be strong enough to withstand five people inside at a time. "- says one of the designers. -"
The futuristic labyrinth of Tape Paris is interesting both inside and out. It seems to visitors that those sneaking inside the translucent tunnels have got inside a living organism or are entangled in a web. Outside, only silhouettes are visible, slowly moving along trembling corridors made of duct tape. Those who are not afraid to personally try to go through the labyrinth are guaranteed unforgettable emotions and impressions in any case.
The Numen / For Use team has repeatedly delighted and amazed viewers with their interactive installations. Similar hanging maze made of scotch tape was tested in an ordinary park, located between trees, and in Austria, visitors to the museum of modern art were asked to get to another floor of the building along corridors made of nets.

Scotch spider web. Installations For Use / Numen
For some, 35 kilometers of duct tape would be enough for a lifetime, and the For Use / Numen design group consumes that amount of duct tape in just a few days. This is because usually people glue torn banknotes with tape or pack boxes with it, and our heroes make installations out of it that look like a huge web
Avant-garde paintings from Scotch tape Sarah DiNardo
Sarah Dinardo's work cannot be called ordinary: her works consist of small round, carefully wound rolls of opaque tape. The artist places these small cylinders in any container that she can find in the ruins of antique shops. Dinardo claims to treat his "creativity" as "a way to calm down and relieve tension."

Faces in scotch tape. Live Cartoons in the Scotch Tape Series by Wes Naman
Contemporary art sometimes takes on the most unexpected forms, hiding in ironic caricatures, eerie sculptures or incomprehensible, absurd paintings. The Scotch Tape Series project by American photographer Wes Naman can be attributed to the same unexpected modern art, absurd and funny, similar to caricatures, but "alive", real, made of flesh and blood. And transparent tape
