In 2017, many of the world's media published data from a very interesting US government program called the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP). This program is funded by the government and investigates all data on unidentified flying objects. All credible 21st century UFO sightings recorded on camera have been verified by AATIP for authenticity. All of them have only one thing in common: they defy any rational explanation.

The secret government program cost the government $ 22 million. This is not the first program of its kind. Official UFO research by the American authorities began in the late 1940s. Then a special project "Znak" was engaged in this. The survey yielded some of the most reliable videos of unexplained celestial phenomena to date.

Over the years, this program was transformed into the Blue Book project. He was actively involved in the study of all cases of UFO sightings during the Cold War between the USSR and the United States. In 2017, the world community became aware that the US government is so actively involved in these issues. This has rekindled interest in UFOs and aliens around the world.

1. Strange lights over the highway

Usually, drivers never brake on a motorway, especially to look up to the heavens. But on July 14, 2001, many motorists changed their minds and stopped on the highway. All because in the night sky over New Jersey very, very strange lights shone.

It was after midnight over the Arthur Keill Waterway between Staten Island in New York and Carteret in New Jersey. Incomprehensible yellow-orange lights hovered in the sky, forming something like the letter "V". Police officer Lieutenant Daniel Tarrant was one of the witnesses of this incident.

An appropriate request was sent to air traffic controllers. At first, they denied that any aircraft or other aircraft had crossed the airspace. At the same time, a group known as the New York Strange Phenomen Investigators (NY-SPI) claimed they were able to obtain FAA radar data. This data suggests that they documented the appearance of a UFO that night.

2. Fighters from the aircraft carrier "Nimitz" and a strange object

On November 14, 2004, the military from the American ship "Princeton" noticed an unknown object on the radar. The device recorded movement in the area of the coast of San Diego, about one hundred and sixty kilometers. Observations were carried out over the next two weeks. Mysterious objects suddenly appeared at an altitude of more than two tens of kilometers, then fell sharply downward and hovered for a short while above the surface of the Pacific Ocean.

When two FA-18F fighters from the aircraft carrier "Nimitz" arrived in the area, a strange picture appeared to the pilots' eyes. An unknown flying object produced a funnel on the water surface and cast an oval-shaped shadow. A few minutes later, an even stranger white object appeared over the ocean, which looked like a drawn circle. There were no identification marks on it, no thermal activity was recorded by infrared monitors. Fighter pilots David Fravor and Jim Slate attempted to intercept the object. Suddenly his speed increased and he disappeared. The object reappeared on radar a hundred kilometers from the strike squadron. Its speed exceeded its sound speed three times.

3. UFO at O'Hare International Airport

Flight 446 was preparing to take off for North Carolina from O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. Suddenly, one of the air traffic controllers noticed a dark gray saucer-shaped object on the runway. He seemed to be floating in the sky, watching the plane take off. It was November 7, 2006. More than ten airport employees watched this inexplicable event.

Witnesses say the saucer hovered in the sky for about five minutes. Then she soared up, and punching a hole in the clouds, disappeared. This event was discussed in all news programs around the world. However, since the UFO was not seen on radar, the FAA called it a "weather phenomenon" and refused to investigate the event.

4. Incident in Stephenville

In the state of Texas there is a small town of Stephenville. It is located just 160 kilometers southwest of Dallas. Most of all, this provincial town is famous for its dairy farms. On the evening of January 8, 2008, dozens of its residents saw something unique in the sky. People reported seeing white lights over the highway. At first they formed a large horizontal arc, then they were arranged in the form of parallel vertical lines. Local pilot Steve Allen calculated that the mysterious "strobe lights" were moving at a speed of almost five thousand kilometers per hour. The objects did not produce any sounds.

Eyewitnesses to the incident claimed that the event was reminiscent of the 1997 Phoenix Lights sightings. The United States Air Force revealed that F-16s were flying in the Brownwood military area (southwest of Stephenville) at the time. The bulk of the townspeople did not believe this. People insisted that what they were able to observe was far technologically superior to all the current achievements of mankind.

5. Video from radars, where a UFO hovers alongside the fighter

In 2017, information about the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program became available to the general public. Then an interesting video appeared. The footage recorded an F / A-18 Super Hornet meeting with an unidentified flying object. The event was recorded by a state-of-the-art Raytheon Advanced Targeting Forward-Looking (ATFLIR) infrared instrument. This was similar to what was seen off San Diego in 2004. The object was moving incredibly fast and looked like a luminous oval. The object did not leave any exhaust behind.

The pilots tracked the object 8000 meters above the Atlantic. When it flew off, it simultaneously rotated around its axis. No reasonable explanation for this phenomenon has ever been found. However, like all other cases.
