The other day the TV channel "Russia" officially disclosed information, which, however, was an open secret - Russia at Eurovision will again be represented by Sergey Lazarev. Although after his performance in 2016, everyone was sure that the singer would not return to the Eurovision. True, this time Lazarev will appear before the audience in a completely new role. He has already shown a song that he recorded with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.

- these words were written on his Instagram page by the popular singer Sergei Lazorev. And on his YouTube channel, he posted on a video clip for the English-language song Scream. It is with this song that he will perform on behalf of Russia in May at the international Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Israel.

The author of the music for the new song, the title of which is translated from English as "The Scream", is Dimitros Kontopoulos, the auto words are Swedish songwriter Sharon Vaughn, and the producer is Filirr Kirkorov. Alex Panayi from Cyprus helped the singer perfect his vocal skills. And the song turned out to be really sad and corresponding to the name - this is the story of a broken heart.

It is worth noting that Sergey Lazorev approached Eurovision-2019 in a non-trivial way - he radically changed his traditional style and recorded a song with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra.

Director Konstantin Cherepkov spoke about the creation of the video. But he said the video was inspired by the fears that every person has since childhood. But when a person becomes an adult, these fears turn into “screams”, and the person fights with them and learns his capabilities and powers.

This time, it was decided to abandon such popular computer special effects today, and tell the story with soulful analog techniques, focusing on scenery, 2D projections and animation. It was with the help of these means that a realistic fairy-tale world was created for Lazarev's song.

But what it was amazing performance of Sergey Lazarev in the first semifinal at Eurovision 2016.
