Each family has its own stories that are passed down from generation to generation. There are funny and tragic, informative and edifying … Petra Glebova Olga. And more than one generation makes fun of this story.
It so happened that the famous children's writer Sergei Mikhalkov was Peter Glebov, a theater and film actor, a cousin. At one time Mikhalkov and his beautiful wife Natalya Konchalovskaya often went to the hospitable house of Pyotr Petrovich and Marina Alekseevna. Times were like that … and people were sincere and open to communication, so they often gathered in companies at feasts, having fun … It was at one of these feasts in the Glebovs' house that this funny story happened, which entered their family archive.
So, the Glebov family once arranged a big feast, on occasion of some kind of holiday, to which the writer Mikhalkov and his wife were invited, as well as a good friend of the owner - the well-known actor Yevgeny Leonov with his wife Wanda and several other guests.
And it so happened that the day before the owner of the house brought a little squirrel from the next shoot. A wonderful fluffy animal quickly settled into a new home. For days, rushing around the apartment, he gave a lot of pleasure to the actor's little daughters and troubles to his wife. Therefore, at night the ubiquitous prankster had to be locked up in a cage.

And now Evgeny Leonov, after another toast, having heard a lot about the little pet of the Glebovs, asks the owner: Marina Alekseevna tried to resist:. Leonov continued to insist, other guests also joined the actor: … The hostess gave up. Returning to the guests, he brings out a sleepy Everka on his shoulder, and he, opening his eyes, cannot understand anything - there are a lot of people around, noise, din, bright light …
At the edge of the festive table, Natalya Konchalovskaya was sitting half-turned with a magnificent haircut on her head, her resin hair was gathered in a beautiful curly bun. And the frightened animal jumps across the table onto her back and quickly buries itself in the strands of her hair, trying to hide there from all this chaos. Mikhalkov's wife in horror grabs her hair, not understanding what is happening, and no less frightened squirrel bites her hand with lightning speed. Natalya screams, and the squirrel tries to jump onto a huge crystal chandelier. However, unable to resist, he falls into a dish with satsivi.
Yevgeny Leonov, clutching his stomach, laughed at this scene the loudest until the little culprit of the commotion, getting out of the satsivi, ran over it himself, leaving traces of peanut sauce on the actor's new costume, which, as it turned out later, could not be cleaned …
And needless to say that everyone present, and of course, the main persons of this tragicomedy remembered for a long time the acquaintance with the little fluffy pet of the Glebovs.
A story from distant childhood
By the way, this is not the first story associated with this beast in the life of cousins - Sergei Mikhalkov and Pyotr Glebov.
And it was in the distant past, when they were still boys. Their families lived in neighboring villages and Sergei, since he was a little older, often visited his relatives to visit. Boys are boys: they went fishing, in the forest, and sometimes they even played pranks at all. Once Sergei undertook to educate his cousins Petya and Fedya, taking them into a ravine and reading them spicy passages from Kuprin's Pit. And this continued until the mother of the Glebov boys caught the tomboys doing this.
And somehow Sergey fell into disgrace altogether, breaking Petkina's balalaika. Little Petya did not part with his balalaika, played marvelously on it, and also sang great to her. And then the tomboys decided to go for a walk in the forest, saw a squirrel on a tree, wanted to see how she jumped to another tree, but she still didn’t jump … and didn’t jump. And then Seryozhka, in order to frighten off the squirrel, taking away the balalaika from Petka, banged it, what was urine, along the trunk of the tree. She - naturally, to smithereens, and small Petka - to a roar. And then there was no time for squirrels. For three days the whole district could hear Glebov Jr. lamenting and bellowing.
And it is not known when it would all have ended, if not for one circumstance. In the same village of Darino, where the Glebovs lived, Konstantin Sergeevich Stanislavsky rented a dacha with his wife Maria Petrovna Lilina. And so Lilina, who listened to these heart-rending screams and roars for a day, asks her housekeeper: - Then Maria Petrovna says: So the future actor got a new balalaika, which he kept all his life.
An interesting fact. Konstantin Sergeevich Stanislavsky himself, closely watching a flock of hungry and ragged children running around the village, conceived to create a summer cottage theater and staged the play "The Love for Three Oranges" with them. Grisha, Peter's elder brother, and Glebov Jr. had four brothers, helped with directing. Stanislavsky already appreciated the guy's talent, and later invited him to his Opera and Drama Studio. Fedya painted the scenery and played the king, by the way, in the future he will become an artist. And the smallest, Petrusha, got a small playful role, but still he could also boast that he made his debut on stage with Konstantin Stanislavsky himself!
Years will pass, and Pyotr Glebov will truly become a student of Konstantin Sergeevich. It is he who will create unsurpassed in the cinema the iconic image of Grishka Melekhov from The Quiet Don, which the viewer admires to this day.
