There are countless varieties of street art expression. Everyone tries to find their own individual style of drawing. French artist C215 works in style stencil art … He creates portraits by overlaying stencils on a surface and then applying paints to them.
Christian Guemi (Christian guemi), who works under the pseudonym C215, has been creating street portraits for over 20 years. He looks for textured faces among ordinary people: old people, children, refugees, beggars. But the artist's favorite muse is his daughter Nina, whom he painted several times over the years.
Christian Guemi himself believes that the secret of recognizing his work is that he really loves what he does. C215 notes that a true artist must find their own form of creative expression, and not imitate someone. Perhaps that is why he chose the stencil technique. First, he carves the portraits out of paper, then sticks them to the surface and applies a coat of spray paint on top.
The artist himself loves to travel. Therefore, in addition to France, his works can be seen in different cities of the world, such as New York, Istanbul, Moscow, London. The work of the Chinese artist Hua Tunan is easily recognizable among other street art works. He uses an unusual technique - painting with paint splashes.
