Brazilian Photographer William Kass presented a series of works entitled "Minimize-Food" … Each photograph shows small figures of men, placed in the conditions of real everyday life. But the beauty is that the world surrounding the characters is made from real products.
Each "edible" composition reveals a separate plot: little men swim in an orange pool, climb a steep "slope" made of lychee, fight sea monsters on a walnut-shell boat. Any of the pictures surprises with its dynamism and plot completeness.
These photographs demonstrate the author's vivid visual-figurative thinking and his excellent sense of humor. It seems that all the characters are very real, just zoom in.
A miniature has many faces. It exists not only in photography, but in painting and sculpture. People have always been amazed by the masters who reproduce plots on such a small scale. Hassan Kale's tiny masterpieces - another confirmation of this.
