The giant bas-relief of American presidents on Mount Rushmore is one of the world's most famous landmarks in the United States of America. It is located in South Dakota. However, not only there. Recently, through the efforts of an artist Eduardo Kobra, a copy of this iconic object also appeared in Los Angeles.
On the site Kulturologiya. Ru, we have already talked about a copy of the bas-relief on Mount Rushmore, created as part of the Miniatur Wunderland project, which is a huge toy railroad that runs along toy copies of famous places from different parts of the Earth.
But in Los Angeles, its own copy of Mount Rushmore recently appeared. True, this is not a bas-relief, and it is not located on a rock at all. This is an artistic image drawn with paints by the Brazilian artist Eduardo Cobra.
This unusual large-scale graffiti is located on the blank wall of 1255 La Brea Ave in Los Angeles.
This graffiti, of course, is inferior in size to the original work, but only three times (six meters versus eighteen).
Eduardo Cobra created this copy of a giant image of the Presidents of the United States of America for an undisclosed private company. The opening was timed to coincide with July 4, 2012 - the 236th anniversary of US Independence.
The image, created by Eduarda Kobra, is made in an avant-garde style, and is very similar to pop art popular in the last few decades.
