The Society for the Protection of Animals is sounding the alarm. Man assimilates more and more lands, depriving animals of their homes. Another misfortune of the 21st century is the frivolity of “nature lovers” who take animals and, unable to withstand the tests of feeding-cleaning-games, throw the pet out into the street. The fate of abandoned pets can be very sad. One of these animals was the baby Raymond. A tiny baby koala was found on the side of Brisbane, Australia.
The newborn was so small and weak that people who found the animal were seriously worried about its condition. The baby was sheltered by Julie Zyzniewski, named after the man who picked up the koala on the sidelines. The woman admits that it was incredibly difficult to feed the weakened animal.
The kid did not want to eat, probably missing his mother. But over time, the koala, feeling a taste for life, began not only to actively eat, but also to play with their saviors. Today, the animal's health does not cause any concern, and Julie Zyzniewski plans to take the baby to the zoo.
Although, this is still a long way off, since Raymond is very tiny and easily fits into a regular cup. He just runs the risk of getting lost in a huge zoo, and it will be problematic to look after him.
The only thing that will not be difficult for the zoo workers is weighing the baby. By the way, one of our past reviews talks about how to find out the weight of animals in the zoo, from a small frog to a clumsy elephant.

What was the Moscow Ring Road more than half a century ago: Doubtful records, theft of 10 cm of the road and other little-known facts
The predecessor of the Moscow Ring Road played one of the main roles in the December counteroffensive in 1941, and the road itself in the first period of its existence was an empty and calm country highway, which could easily be used both for filming a film and for family photos. Decades later, the words "Beware of the car" and "MKAD" correlated in a different way, and one of the dubious road records was the huge death rate among drivers and pedestrians

Why "dragons" and giant kangaroos that lived side by side with people became extinct in Australia
The already amazing nature of Australia tens of thousands of years ago was even more incredible. The continent was inhabited by giant kangaroos, twice the height of an ordinary person, and huge goannas, similar to dragons. But why did the megafauna disappear on this earth? Previously, it was believed that people were to blame. Now scientists are sure: it was climate change that led Australia's megafauna to extinction. The land that we now call Australia, 40-60 thousand years ago, was inhabited by giant creatures sa
Sightseeing off the side of the road at the Traveling Miniatures Museum
The Museum of Miniatures on Wheels has a complex name - "The world's largest collection of the world's smallest versions of the world's largest things." Such an intricate design was invented by Erica Nelson - the author and leader, and just the driver of the museum van. Miniatures are created in several stages. At first, the traveler notices some strange sight on the way - for example, the world's largest skein of rope. Having photographed an interesting object, Erica Nelson does it at her leisure
