It became known that a new twist was taken by the case, which concerns the partially missing collection of jewelry with diamonds, which belonged to Lyudmila Zykina. During her lifetime, the singer treasured her collection very much and for good reason, because she included unique jewelry with diamonds, which could well compete with the collection owned by Galina Brezhneva, daughter of the General Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee. Lyudmila Zykina carried the collection of jewelry with precious stones with her in her travel bag on all tours.
The heirs of the collection are the singer's personal assistant Tatyana Svinkova, as well as her three nephews. After Zykina died in 2009 at the age of 80, the assistant moved the unique jewelry to her country house. After a short time, they were seized by representatives of law enforcement agencies and transferred for storage to one of the nephews. It was Sergei Zykin, who decided to put diamond jewelry up for auction in 2012. All the jewelry was bought by a fan of the singer for 32 million Russian rubles. Other relatives did not agree to the sale, and therefore challenged the deal and the jewelry returned to Sergei. But he disappeared again, and the police closed the case after the statute of limitations had expired.
The case on the search for the missing collection has now been reopened and the initiator of this search was Davud Abbas Ahmadi, a businessman from Iran. Even during the USSR, he visited the Kremlin Palace and noted for himself the singer Lyudmila Zykina. Now he plans to become a member of several Russian investment projects and along the way decided to try to return the missing collection with diamonds of the deceased singer.
Close people and relatives of the singer recall that indeed, once an Iranian went to Lyudmila's fans. An expensive diamond item was presented to them as a gift from Zykina. They also say that he called the singer to marry. They corresponded, but it is impossible to say with certainty whether they had an affair.
It is not known exactly how many jewelry was included in Zykina's collection, and how much they cost at the moment. Even during her lifetime, she herself turned to specialists to assess a part of the collection, and even then the amount of over 160 million rubles was named.
