Oleg Antosenko, chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor, said that in the third quarter of next 2018 they plan to open a concert hall on the territory of Moscow City. This cinema and concert hall will be located in a building with nine floors. The total area of this building is 38.3 thousand square meters. It is planned that forums, a gala concert and other important events will be held in this cinema and concert hall. It is designed to receive 1600 guests.
It is planned to install a transforming stage in the round hall. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that it is capable of taking over 16 different forms. There will be no ordinary ceiling over the round building; it was decided to replace it with a transparent dome, the diameter of which is 64 meters. It is planned to install a clock on this dome, the diameter of which will be equal to the diameter of the dome. This watch will be the largest and will enter the Guinness Book of Records. The craftsmen want to make the entire building of the cinema and concert hall look like an inlaid box, into which a clock mechanism was inserted. A running light hand will be responsible for showing the time on the dial in this movement. Upon completion of construction work, it is planned to start landscaping the adjacent territory.
And at the moment, the construction company is carrying out facade work and glazing of the translucent dome. The facade work is already 70% complete, and the dome is 95% complete. At the same time, inside the building, it makes the installation of engineering systems, the installation of elevators.
Oleg Antosenko said that Mosgosstroynadzor is very closely following the construction of the new cinema and concert hall. During such inspections, violations in the field of construction control have recently been revealed. The company carrying out construction works received an order according to which it had to carry out the elimination of violations as soon as possible. The construction of this cinema and concert hall began in 2014. Since then, over 70 orders have been issued. At the same time, Antosenko noted that all violations are eliminated within the time limits established by the Moscow State Construction Supervision Service.
