On May 29, the Moscow Multimedia Art Museum hosted the opening of the exhibition of André Kertes, a photographer from Hungary and Witold Krassowski, a photographer from Poland. These exhibitions are held as part of the Eleventh Moscow International Biennale with the title Fashion and Style in Photography - 2019.

A little more than sixty of his works are presented at the exhibition of the Polish photographer. In these photographs, Krassowski captured Catholic pilgrims looking at Podbrdo, a mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the inhabitants of the Egyptian City of the Dead, refugees from Afghanistan and Tanzania, etc. This exhibition will last until July 14.

During his communication with representatives of news publications, the author of the photographs presented at the exhibition told that he was lucky in his life to do what he really loved and to make money on it. Krassowski drew attention to the fact that ordinary life of people, in which they can do more diverse things, is of great interest to him.

Among the artist's works there are a considerable number of shots taken in hot spots. During this shooting, he did not seek to show how terrible the war is, he wanted to show what life is like for people who have to live in such conditions. He advised to look at the photographs taken in Afghanistan, where during the shooting there was a war. They depict the ordinary life of people who just wanted to get through this difficult time, who were not interested in the war at all.

The exhibition of the Hungarian photographer Kertes was called "Szigetbeche - the source of my art." It was organized by the Robert Capa Center for Contemporary Photography, which is located in Budapest. In his works, which he decided to present in Moscow, the author decided to show his attitude to such trends in photography as constructivism, surrealism and the humanistic direction.

In the photographs by this author, visitors can see urban subjects and rural landscapes, which Kertesh was engaged in filming in different countries: France, the United States of America, Hungary. The exhibition of works by this artist will run until September 1.

The guests who attended the opening ceremony were able to get acquainted with the project called "VR: New Laws of Art". This exhibition will open on May 31 and close on June 16. Its peculiarity lies in the presentation using virtual reality of works by Natalie Yurberg, Marina Abramovich, Jeff Koons, Anish Kapoor, as well as other contemporary artists.
