For many of us, pets are an integral part of life, because so often pets turn out to be like their owners. Most often, cats and dogs, parrots and guinea pigs live in houses, however, sometimes more exotic specimens are found. For example, Shota Tsukamoto from Tokyo became famous on the net thanks to his favorite - Darcy the hedgehog.
Darcy's adorable photos are regularly posted on the social network Instagram, they have already won the hearts of many users. The owner named the three-year-old hedgehog after the bassist from The Smashing Pumpkins. And the baby lived up to expectations: she has a playful and friendly character, she behaves affectionately, despite the thorns on her back.
Shota Tsukamoto has created a series of photographs about Darcy's adventures. Either she explores the world of cups, then she sits in a shoe, like in an armchair, or even completely "gets acquainted" with a comb, which has no less "thorns" than Darcy herself. Each photo is filled with love for this tiny creature, warmth and tenderness. The author does not specifically accompany the photographs with names, since he wants the viewers to have the opportunity to dream up, perhaps to come up with their own story.
Shota Tsukamoto dreams of publishing this photo cycle as a separate illustrated children's edition, which would certainly delight not only kids, but also adults.
By the way, on our site Kulturologiya. RF, we have repeatedly published other "love-stories" of the owners and their pets. Among the most touching is the project The Untamed Species, which tells about famous artists and their cats, as well as farewell photographs of the owners with their dogs from Sarah Beth Earnhart.
