African branch of an international advertising agency TBWA ran an ingenious campaign to popularize cockroach spray called "Doom Fogger" … The creatives abandoned large-scale PR campaigns and moved in the completely opposite direction: they created a series of miniature installations depicting the idyllic life of insects flowing inside the cracks in the walls of houses.
The creators of advertising installations took their business seriously. The works used real cockroaches, both dead and alive. Miniature chairs, tables, lamps and other pieces of furniture and decor were made especially for them. The action of works performed by creatives from the agency TBWA, takes place in an imaginary city called Roachville … However, according to the advertisers themselves, their installations are only half a joke. More than 100 thousand species of insects live in Africa, and local cockroaches are not like European ones: some individuals reach 8 centimeters in length.
Advertising installations were placed on busy city streets, so that anyone could witness the rich life of insects, usually hidden from the eyes of the observer. As you can learn from this series of works, the life of cockroaches is not much different from that of a human: they also go to restaurants and discos, they also drink champagne and lead a married life. If you look closely, you will notice that they even travel to the sea and bring photographs from the trip. But the creators of the spray "Doom Fogger" intend to put an end to this cockroach idyll, the company's slogan reads: "Doom Fogger" will get to where they live."
Advertising agency TBWA This isn't the first time I've had to deal with these pesky insects. For example, its branch in the United Arab Emirates has already produced a series of posters for cockroach gel called Kombat.
