After at the Boston candy company Amanda oakleaf cakes built a giant sculpture Stormtrooper from Star Wars, no one dares to say that stormtrooper is no longer cake. Because this is exactly what the sculpture from the talented pastry chefs was. Taller than the average man, this amazing culinary masterpiece was created especially for the Arisia science fiction festival held in Boston. More than 600 people tasted the masterpiece dessert. Over the edible Stormtrooper, whose weight was 140 kg, and the height was more than 1.80 cm, ten pastry chefs worked for two weeks, each on his own part of the character's body. And then the giant dessert was assembled on a frame, like a Lego constructor. Stormtrooper's legs, on which the bulk of the cake lay, consisted mainly of puffed rice grains, and the body was already made of biscuit with cream. To prevent the biscuit from becoming stale, this part of the edible sculpture was baked and put on a plastic frame last. Then the giant figure of the buttery Stormtrooper was covered in a white and dark chocolate icing.
