Almost 40 years old Hungarian collector Joseph Tari continues one venture, from which, it would seem, there is no use. However, skeptics always speak so about the collections of certain original things: the hair museum in Cappadocia, the record collection of Pokémon, and in the case of Joseph Tari, this is huge library of miniature books … For nearly 40 years, Joseph's house has collected more than 4, 5 thousand tiny volumes with poems and songs, biblical stories and fantastic works, fairy tales and novels, recipes and sports encyclopedias, and regardless of whether the owner of a strange library can read them … The main condition of the collection is not at all the language of the work or its genre: the growth of each potential exhibit of an amazing collection should not exceed 6-7 cm.
So, since it is not the language of literature at all that is the key rule for selecting exhibits, the strange library contains unique publications from Japan, Indonesia, Mexico, USA, Thailand, France and many other countries. There are even several mini-volumes with the works of Ukrainian and Russian poets: Shevchenko, Pushkin, Lermontov, Gogol. By the way, the pride of Joseph's collection is a book measuring 2, 9 x 3, 2 cm, the smallest of all. The biggest one is the seven-centimeter "giant".
Along with miniature books, Tari's strange library also contains 15 types of miniature newspapers, including the world's smallest Hungarian edition, which measures 19 x 26 mm.
