It's not a secret for anyone that human activity has a very strong effect on nature, on the ecological state of the planet Earth, and, moreover, changes it not at all for the better. And, thanks to the works with the title Oritsunagumono from a Japanese master Takayuki Hori, illustrations for these processes can be seen in the style origami.

Humanity is not at all careful about nature. It mercilessly exploits the earth's resources, pours harmful substances into the water, pollutes the ocean with garbage. And in the end, this has a detrimental effect on both the people themselves and the animal diversity on our planet.

It is because of the activities of people that hundreds of species of animals and insects disappear every year, and representatives of the remaining species are destroyed at an amazing pace. This is what a series of unusual works in origami style from the Japanese artist Takayuki Hori is dedicated to.

The title of these works "Oritsunagumono" is translated from Japanese as "All things are connected with each other", which also refers us to the installation "We Are All Connected" by WWF. In this series, figures of various animals are presented. They are installed on special luminous trays, and therefore the viewers feel as if they are glowing from the inside and you can see their insides.

Of course, there are no entrails in the middle of origami. Their images were printed on sheets even before figures began to be folded from them. But thanks to the work of light, one gets the impression that these are not just paper figures, but living organisms.

The meaning of the message put by Takayuki Hori in this origami figurine is that it shows which organs of animals are affected by all that garbage, all those harmful substances that we throw into nature.
