Well, there is nothing left until the New Year's light of time, and everyone has probably already coped with decorating the premises for the holiday. But if it's still just getting started, Texas-based artist Rebecca Ward might have a few ideas. For a long time, the girl has been creating stunning installations, using exclusively electrical tape of different colors and sizes for her work.
Rebecca herself calls her works installations, although for sure this unusual art can be called somehow differently. And in fact, the artist gets a very colorful decor for the rooms in which all her exhibitions are held.
When a girl is asked how she creates such large-scale works, brilliant in their simplicity, she laughs that for a while she transforms into a spider that weaves a web from corner to corner. Only instead of spider "threads" she uses electrical tape, carefully composing colors and stretching the tape so as not to stray, otherwise she will have to start over. Insulating tape is a difficult material, every now and then strives to stick to something unnecessary.
For one installation, Rebecca Ward spends three to four hours, and to arrange an exhibition, she takes up to a week. These and other works of the craftswoman can be seen on her website at online gallery.

In fact, the artist uses black strips of duct tape. With their help, Yun seeks to recreate the endless chaos of things and objects that are stored in excess in the garage or basement of the house of almost every resident of a large city
