Perhaps this is what a selection of the best photos will give you. Icelandic volcano Grimsvotn, which only a couple of days ago stopped terrorizing the European sky.

Grimsvotn, the successor of the Eyjafjallajokudl business, began to erupt May 21st at 10 pm (Moscow time): ash and blocks of hot lava flew out of the "devil's forge" to a height of 20 kilometers! Some of these stones became meteorites - the representatives of the Earth in interstellar space. And those who remained on their home planet swirled in clouds and began to fall back on the heads of the Icelanders, and even provided the entire Northern Europe with non-flying weather.
