The magic show "Battle of Psychics" has been on domestic television since 2007. However, to this day, the audience argues about whether what is shown in the program is true or whether it is all a script. Many experts, ordinary people and even celebrities spoke out with the exposure of participants with paranormal abilities. But, I must admit, "Battle …" has a good rating, which means that the show will continue. Although there were also those who decided to sue the program and psychics. We recall the loudest proceedings.

Hindu astrologer against the "Battle of psychics"

Punit Nahata

Four years ago, an unknown Indian Punit Nahata announced that he was suing the "Battle of the Psychics". It turned out that the man considers himself an astrologer, and this is what helped him, according to him, to determine that everything in the show goes according to the script, the plot is known in advance, and the magicians themselves are ordinary actors. In his lawsuit, he indicated that he did not want viewers to be deceived. It's no secret that people are starting to give a lot of money to those who managed to become famous on the show. By the way, the former participant of the "Battle …" Iolanta Voronova acted as a witness from the side of the astrologer.

However, the man was denied the lawsuit, citing the fact that the names of specific victims were not named. But Punit did not despair and went to court again, but later withdrew the statement, admitting that it was only a PR move on his part. However, Voronova did not think to give up: she said that the creators of the program deliberately pit the participants against each other, and that her minor daughter was treated rudely at that time. However, this time the court did not accept the claim either, but the producer was “asked” from the program.

Katya Gordon against deception

The well-known human rights activist, singer and journalist also had her own complaints about the magic show. The fact is that in one of the issues she was surprised to recognize among the participants Julia Wang, who had previously been her stylist. By the way, it was this extravagant girl who later became the winner of the 15th season. Gordon went to court with a lawsuit against TNT. She explained that she does not require the closure of the "Battle of Psychics" or money, but only wants the credits for the show to indicate that everything that happens on the screen is a production. Moreover, Katya even stated that she was ready to personally donate a million to those people who could show real paranormal abilities outside the program.

As a result: "The battle …" is still going on and is not going to close.

Husband accused of murder

Roman Ksenofontov

But if the previous examples were not so serious, and the opponents of the show, rather, wanted to become famous, then one of the episodes of the program "Psychics are investigating" (a kind of brainchild of "Battle …") brought serious problems to Roman Ksenofontov.

The fact is that after another quarrel, the man's wife disappeared: she left in an unknown direction and never returned. Of course, Roman was the main suspect in the disappearance, but investigators did not find evidence against him. Moreover, Ksenofontov passed a lie detector test, which showed that the spouse was not guilty.

After some time, the mother of the lost woman turned to psychics. The creators of the show found Roman, and, according to him, began to ask about various details (what car he drives, where there are scars and other nuances).

Ksenofontov, not seeing a catch in this, told about everything and agreed to shoot. But what was his surprise when several participants in him saw the murderer of the missing wife and talked about the details that he had previously told about himself. Of course, the psychics did not specifically name the man's name, but it was clear to everyone who they had in mind.

And after the transfer, a black streak began in Roman's life: he was fired from his job, he could not find a new one, and many openly called him a murderer. His daughter also had problems: at school they began to mock at her, and the girl herself, because of nervousness, stopped eating altogether and brought herself to anorexia.

Then Ksenofontov decided to file a lawsuit, asking to protect him from defamation. However, although the court sided with the man, it decided to pay him only 5 thousand rubles (instead of the 5 million that Roman had asked for) as moral damage. In addition, it was decided to remove the scandalous issue from the air and no longer broadcast.

Was there a murderer?

Gina Izyumskaya

Another unpleasant incident occurred in 2011. Then a former participant of another scandalous show "Dom-2" Gina Izyumskaya came to the program with a request for help. The girl wanted to find out who killed her friend Oleg Timofeev. She told many details about the young man and, among other things, said that he preferred both women and men.

Strange, but it was precisely the last fact that psychics clung to and not only called Stanislav Bulatov, a resident of Ufa, the killer, but also announced that he was a maniac who kills people with a gay orientation. The young man, who suddenly turned out to be a "fierce ruin", did not immediately go to court, believing that over time the hype would subside. But when, even after 8 years, the scandalous popularity did not stop persecuting the man, he decided to go to court with a request to restore his good name.

However, Bulatov's claim was not accepted because he missed the deadline for contacting the relevant authorities with the protection of his rights. But Stanislav decided not to stop and see it through to the end. Although there is a different opinion: the same Gina claims that the young man was first imprisoned for murder, and then acquitted.

Victims against the fraudster

Yuri Olenin
Yuri Olenin

It is no secret that many participants come to the "Battle …" in order to "light up" on television, and then start selling their services at a higher price. However, even the creators of the show themselves regularly warn viewers not to give their money to people who supposedly have a magical gift. And to be convinced of this, you can give the example of another psychic.

Yuri Olenin participated in the ninth season of the magic show and lasted only six issues. But this did not prevent the man, after the project, from opening the Routes of Life center, which was supposed to help seriously ill people. However, as it turned out, Olenin did not heal, but simply extorted money. After they filed a lawsuit against him, it turned out that he had enriched himself in the amount of more than 16 million rubles. In total, 12 people were found involved in fraudulent activities, and Yuri was sent to prison for three years.

Kleptomaniac with "magic salt"

Arseny Karadzha

But not always the name "Battle of psychics" pops up in connection with the truthfulness or untruthfulness of the words of the participants. For example, Arseniy Karadzha, whom viewers remember from season 15, received a real prison sentence when he was caught red-handed for theft.

In 2017, the "magician" tried to pull out clothes worth 24 thousand rubles from the store. But when Arseny was detained, drugs were found in his pocket. However, the young man himself claimed that this is "magic salt" for work. Naturally, no one believed him, and a criminal case was opened against Karadzha, released on recognizance not to leave. However, the guy ran away and hid for a whole year. When they did find him, the court gave him a three-year suspended sentence.

If you want a high post - pay

Svetlana Solovieva (Isolde Gross)

And Svetlana Solovieva, whom many know as a participant in the "Battle …" Isolde Gross, did not waste time on trifles, but traded … positions. The sorceress, along with accomplices, including an employee of the mayor's office, offered people to become deputies or employees of law enforcement agencies. They told gullible clients that they worked in the presidential administration, and for their services they took from 500 thousand to a million euros.

One of the businessmen fell for this bait, who at first agreed to give the money, but then changed his mind. However, Solovyova and her friends argued that the man still owes them, since his candidacy has already been agreed “from above”. Then the entrepreneur sold part of the company's property without informing its founder, who, in turn, filed a lawsuit against the hapless businessman. But even then Svetlana found a "way out": for 4 million rubles she promised the entrepreneur, who never got the position, to close the case. It was then that the scammers were detained, but the psychic got off with only a suspended sentence.
