Cake is not just a sweet delicacy, it is a real decoration of the festive table. Truth, skilled craftsmen sometimes create such masterpieces culinary artsthat look more like sculptures made of marzipan, glaze, cream and biscuit. Today we will talk about amazing cakes by Kathy Knaus.

Katie Knaus's creations bear little resemblance to cakes in the usual sense of the word. Instead of traditional cream roses, there are whole sculptural compositions of various themes. For example, there is in her collection a cake decorated like a board with rolls, and a tiny sewing workshop with a typewriter and a dress on a mannequin. Her best cake, however, is the library layout.

The sweet "library" looks amazing: Katie Knaus not only completely recreated the room, but also paid special attention to the smallest details. For example, viewers can see multi-level shelves with books, a chair and a reading table with two miniature lamps and open volumes, a globe is installed on the coffee table, and a staircase is placed next to the second floor. The outer side of the building is also drawn: brick walls, a front entrance and, of course, flower beds. It's hard to believe it's all made from cream and marzipan!

There are Katie Knaus and children's cakes in her collection. For example, kids will love the chocolate ship, and older kids will love the model of the galaxy. The sculpture cakes look fantastic.

By the way, readers of the site Kulturologiya. RF will probably remember other ideas for decorating cakes, because we have repeatedly talked about the culinary art for those with a sweet tooth. Among the best "cream sculptors" are former NASA engineer BethAnn Goldberg, the Cakegirls duo and our compatriot Zhanna Zubova.
