Shanghai - the largest city in China, which many dream to visit. An amazing combination of modern architectural achievements and bold design solutions form the unique look of the city. Built not so long ago round pedestrian bridge in the center of Shanghai has become a new architectural landmark.
The pedestrian bridge is very functional due to its extraordinary shape. It was built in order to "unload" pedestrian crossings. In the Lujiazui area (and this is a large shopping area) a large flow of traffic arrives every day, and often pedestrians can hardly get to the place they need. With the advent of the bridge, the Chinese were able to quickly and easily get to any part of the square, because it houses the Shanghai Stock Exchange, many business centers, shops and cozy cafes.
The bridge is 20 feet high, and numerous escalators provide easy and fast movement of a large flow of people. The modern design attracts not only locals but also tourists. The bridge offers a picturesque view of the skyscrapers of Shanghai. At night, of course, it transforms even more - the architects did a great job designing the evening lighting. By the way, the round pedestrian bridge is striking in its size. It is so wide that 15 people can walk along it shoulder to shoulder at the same time.
