Video: Author's paintings made of metal

I create metal paintings. I glue carnations, washers, dials, coins, keys, keyholes, mirrors, tractor parts on wood, and what I don't know the name and don't want to know … Cold lifeless metal. Old, dirty, thrown away things. It all comes to life under my fingers …
My works have a lot of symbolic information. I often see the plots of my work in a cut of a tree, and this or that detail helps me to convey the image more accurately. The human path, time and love are the main themes of my works. I believe that these are the topics that are relevant for a modern person and can serve as a support in the search for the meaning of life. Nowadays there is a lot of talk about conceptual art. And, perhaps, this is contemporary art: to create works from the objects that surround us, and to see our meanings in this diversity. In any case, this meets the needs of the present time: modern man wants to have his own path, to understand where he is going, and to see the general plan of what is happening.
A little more about the "technique": I see scenes in a cut of a tree and then I don't know who is doing it, I or He … I select the millimeter details, following His stroke. Therefore, I resist the insistently imposed label "collage art". Well, it doesn't resonate …
