The Tension series of photographs by New York photographer Nir Arieli is a stunning combination of dynamics, expression, eroticism and expressiveness. By combining several shots of a dancer in one, the author creates truly impressive images.
Arieli admits that she has nothing to do with professional dancing, and she also feels insecure on the dance floor. However, through photographs, he manages to join the art of dance, which he literally dreams of.
Nir Arieli was born in Israel, began his career as a war photographer, then became seriously interested in photographing professional dancers. Since childhood, Arieli saw himself in art. As a rather reserved child, Nir realized at some point that it was the camera that could be an excuse to make acquaintances.
“I really got into shooting dancers a few years ago when I moved to New York to finish my studies,” says Nir Ariely. “Coincidentally, that's when my cousin started dancing at Juilliard school. It was then that I asked him to take part in the shooting, and he called his friends."
Kulturogolia. Ru has already introduced its readers to the Israeli tandem - a series of photographs from the Israeli tandem of Shimon and Tamar, which show the couple's movements during the dance.
