Either an installation, or a creative lamp, or a decorative piece of furniture that combines both sounded functions - in any case, an original art project Mushroom Lights from the designer Yukio takano will not go unnoticed. This project is a series of decorative lamps in the form of miraculous mushrooms, which during the day look like a piece of nature, and in the dark they glow with a magical light, bewitching, enchanting, hypnotizing. In the Mushroom Lights series of art lamps, the designer has combined natural materials with artificial ones. Having embedded transparent silicone figurines of mushrooms, illuminated from the inside by LEDs, into the fragments of wood, he achieved a realistic appearance of this installation. Therefore, the subsequent light show, which will begin as soon as the light goes out, will significantly surprise the uninitiated. But it will pleasantly surprise you.
The brightness of LED mushrooms is not enough to call this project a table lamp, but an original night light is just right. To switch the operating modes of the lamp, to adjust the glow of the miraculous mushrooms at his own discretion, the author integrated a wheel-switch into the wooden base. There is also a battery compartment. At first glance, these details are not noticeable, which allows the installation to take pride of place among other decorative elements of the interior.
In fact, the author has designed an entire plantation of colorful mushrooms in the form of Mushroom Lights. You can see them on the Yukio Takano website.

Remember how in the elementary grades of school and in the preparatory group of the kindergarten we had to cut out all sorts of handicrafts from colored paper like snowflakes, Christmas trees, lanterns? At least that's how it was with me … London-based designer Yu Jordy Fu, apparently, does not have such problems with the manufacture of flashlights

Mushroom Cloud: A mushroom cloud of mushrooms. Installation by Chris Drury
"… For a long time the guys could not understand what kind of" fungus "grows in the distance" - this is how a good half of the bloodthirsty stories about a little boy that children told each other when I went to school ends. A similar "fungus" has grown in the portfolio of contemporary artist Chris Drury, except that nothing had to be blown up for this, and no one was hurt. This peaceful installation is called Mushroom Cloud
