With the work of a Japanese artist Chooo-sanwho paints amazingly on her body realistic body painting, readers of Cultural Studies are already familiar. The eerie painting creates the appearance that the artist has a third ear on her cheek, an extra pair of eyes on her face, and a zippered wrist. Chuu-san depicts similarly realistic plots on models, turning their bodies into a field for experiments and three-dimensional illusions, worthy of films based on the novels of Stephen King. A freshman at Musashino Art University in Tokyo, Chuu-san became famous for her art pampering with acrylics on her body. But the art project in which her volunteer friends were involved turned out to be much more serious and large-scale. By painting the backs, bellies and limbs of her friends with realistic drawings, the artist seeks to once again prove that such an effect can be achieved without using computer graphics and digital post-processing of photographs. And despite the fact that many do not believe in it, everything that Chuu-San draws is "alive", real.
The second art project of the young artist consists of illusory fasteners embedded in human bodies. Buttoned belly, zippered back, lace-up leg, and these are just a few of the three-dimensional designs that modify the models. An impressive effect, especially when you consider that Chuu-San is only taking his first steps in this field, and is a self-taught artist receiving professional education. The artist takes great pleasure in her work, especially after the success of the first series of bodypainting. She believes that she was able to prove: a person can achieve success in painting without a computer, and modify his body beyond recognition, both disfiguring it and embellishing it.
You can get acquainted with the three-dimensional bodypainting of the Japanese artist on her website.

Incredibly realistic dolls from a Russian sculptor
Many of us have seen these horror films in which dolls either come to life by themselves, or a person is turned into their little plastic copy, so that he feels everything, but could not say anything. Mikhail Zaikov's articulated dolls evoke about the same feelings - they are so realistic that it is hard to believe that these are just dolls, it seems that they are about to come to life and will start, if not talking, then certainly looking quite meaningfully
Charles Dickens and three sisters, three rivals, three loves
The life and career of the great Charles Dickens is inextricably linked with the names of the three Hogarth sisters, each of whom at different periods of time was a muse, a guardian angel and his guiding star. True, considering himself a unique person, Dickens always blamed his life partner for his misfortunes, in which he did not differ from the overwhelming majority. Yes, and he did not act like a gentleman, becoming for posterity a vivid example of how one should not break marital ties
