Someone sews clothes from fabric, someone from leather, someone from fur, and the designer Bart Hess creates garments from wax. The Garment District project was created specifically for the Future Perfect exhibition. But this is not the most interesting thing. And the very process of creating wax clothes. More about all this in our review.
1. The model is prepared for immersion in a vat of water.
2. Before the girl steps into the water, melted wax is gradually poured onto the surface.
3. As the body is immersed in water, the wax is added.
4. After a short stay in a vat of water, wax sticks around the girl's figure. Only then is the model raised to the surface.
5. Visually, the wax looks like a wet cotton cloth.
6. After that, the wax outfit is carefully removed from the model and allowed to dry.
The masterpiece is ready.
Admittedly, the idea of creating wax clothes is quite unusual. It is usually used to mold figures of people or candles. It is easier. The fragile, thin fabric and flying silhouettes have never been touched by anyone. Let's hope that Bart Hess will hone his skills and surprise you with something even larger and more impressive by the next exhibition.

An artist from Russia burns paintings with wax: the revival of the ancient painting technique - encaustics
Even in ancient Egypt, wax paints were already used to paint tombs. This material perfectly retains its shape and color. It is not known for certain when exactly this technique appeared. Later it was used by the ancient Greeks. They burned stunning, incredibly lifelike images with wax paints on a marble board. This technique is called "encaustic". Over time, it was forgotten and almost completely lost. Now this unusual old technology is experiencing its rebirth grace

They are greeted by clothes, seen off by clothes. Colorful sculpture installations
Once we wrote about how skillfully creative people are able to use available materials to create their imperishable works. For example, using clothes, because not a single person living in modern society can do without it, which means that every second wardrobe is full of things to the eyeballs. So, the artist Thomas Voorn creates graffiti from clothes, and the Cuban creators Alain Guerra and Neraldo de la Paz's - colorful sculptural installations
Painted graffiti on painted walls. Creativity Jessica Hess (Jessica Hess)
Whatever one may say, and no matter how talented, original, unusual the graffiti on the walls, pillars and fences are, they still continue to be considered vandalism, hooliganism, albeit with the prefix "art", and from time to time they chase street art masters for damage public property. But the most ardent adherents of this art form stubbornly continue to decorate city real estate with their arts, and the most cautious and unusually thinking paint graffiti on … painted walls. How is it
