When two talents meet and begin to create with four hands, thinking creatively with two minds, it definitely should result in something amazing, unusual and unique. Young artists Lucy McRae and Bart Hess transform human bodies into mutants.
A mass of foam, asymmetrical lines, protruding thorns and inflated bubbles, combined with shocking artistic realism, contribute to the physical changes of a beautiful and perfect human body. As a result, the sculpture is disgusting and beautiful at the same time.
There is something primitive and wild about these transformed bodies. Such statues of mutant people make the viewer think about the ideals of beauty, about why we consider something to be ideal, based on a beautiful appearance. The work of Lucy McRae and Bart Hess is a kind of artistic mixture - where color is beauty and form is ugliness.
Bart Hess graduated from the Academy of Design, Eindhoven, where students were trained to work with new materials, predicting trends in fashion and culture. Bart has always had a passion for photography, drawing and fashion. Some say that Bart is shy and introverted, but when you look at his work, the personality of the artist seems to be the opposite. He expresses his personality through paintings and installations.
Working with Lucy Mac Rae, they listen to their own instincts, not limiting themselves in anything. Artists use different materials, applying them on their own bodies, exploring the forms and ways of transforming human silhouettes.

Why the famous socialist realist Geliy Korzhev began to paint Turkic mutants and paintings on biblical motives
In recent years, interest in the work of Soviet artists has been reviving in the art world. And there was a time when their works were written off to a landfill, and their names were denigrated by newfangled critics and art critics of the new formation. From the Soviet period, the legacy of only a few artists remained intact, among which is the name of Geliy Korzhev, who possessed an amazing gift of vision and was able to masterfully convey in one gesture, in facial expression, what a whole generation was thinking about
Incorporation of Monsters and Mutants by artist Diogo Machado
What will happen if you draw, it would seem. Creepy monsters and mutants funny, unusual and bright? It will turn out to be the lifelong work of the artist Diogo Machado, who paints beautiful / terrible eccentric creatures on paper, on walls, on skateboards, on wallets, on T-shirts, on toys and immortalizes them in sculptures. Some of these creatures are more serious, some are more funny, but they all bring joy to the viewer

How was it in the song from the radio play "Alice in Wonderland"? If they call a piggy out loud, from the cradle, baiushki-baiu, even the most humble child will turn into a pig in the future. Fantastic Wax Clothes by Bart Hess
Someone sews clothes from fabric, someone from leather, someone from fur, and the designer Bart Hess creates garments from wax. The Garment District project was created specifically for the Future Perfect exhibition. But this is not the most interesting thing. And the very process of creating wax clothes. More about all this in our review
Painted graffiti on painted walls. Creativity Jessica Hess (Jessica Hess)
Whatever one may say, and no matter how talented, original, unusual the graffiti on the walls, pillars and fences are, they still continue to be considered vandalism, hooliganism, albeit with the prefix "art", and from time to time they chase street art masters for damage public property. But the most ardent adherents of this art form stubbornly continue to decorate city real estate with their arts, and the most cautious and unusually thinking paint graffiti on … painted walls. How is it
