Peter Schafrick is a renowned advertising photographer with a passion for capturing liquids in motion with a high-speed camera. "I did not plan to develop this particular direction," says Shafrik, "but having tried it once, I realized that it was mine."
Shafrik started photography quite late. For a long time he worked in the field of telecommunications, but one day he realized that it was necessary to change something and took up a completely new direction for himself.
“It was quite difficult,” Shafrik recalls, “I didn’t have the appropriate education, but I was persistent - experience in the field of sales helped me a lot at first”.
Success came to Shafrik pretty soon. Today he has a large list of famous clients and many new ideas. For his new project "The spinster", Shafrik carefully selected materials and came up with various color combinations.
By his order, a specially designed machine - "the spinster", on which children's toys (or their parts) were fixed with paint previously applied to them, was specially designed. The device began to rotate, and paint splattered in the most bizarre way. “I never know what exactly will turn out in a photo, but I know for sure that it will turn out great. This unpredictability is very exciting,”the photographer admits.
