Video: Sincerity Above All: Photo Project by Indonesian Mikael Aldo

Indonesian artist Mikael Aldo was engaged in the creation of a photo cycle "366 Project" exactly one year. Starting work on January 1, 2012, Aldo posted one new photo daily. "This year has completely changed my life," Aldo admitted in the end.
"366 Project" is the first major project in Aldo's career: the aspiring photographer is now only sixteen years old. Nevertheless, his best works demonstrate the presence of an extraordinary talent and the makings of his own style. Critics point out that Aldo has a well-developed imagination, which he successfully uses when creating his surrealist creations.
“At the beginning of the year, I embarked on an exciting journey that changed my artistic career. I don’t have enough words to describe how much it means to me!” - with these words Aldo summed up the “results” of 2012 in his blog. While working on "Project 366" Aldo not only worked, but also studied: looking through all the works in a row, one can trace the formation of a young artist.
For example, it was only while working on the project that Aldo realized that his vocation was portrait photography. Starting with landscapes, he gradually switched completely to portraits. People in his photographs look emotional, they experience, fantasize and feel, and with them the viewer begins to experience the same emotions.
Indonesia is a country famous for its majestic nature and ancient traditions such as ritual sports called Sepak Bola Api … Mikael Aldo's creative photography project testifies to the flourishing artistic life in the Asian country. Thanks to the "366 Project", the young photographer himself not only seriously enlarged his portfolio, but also got his first work in his life - presumably, in the future, fans of artistic photography will still hear his name.
