"Kraft" (Crufts Dog Show) is not only world famous dog showheld annually in Great Britain, but also a kind of national holiday that the whole country is looking forward to! The exhibition was first held in 1891, since then it has been considered one of the most prestigious. More than 22 thousand dogs took part in the traditional four-day competition this year!
More than 170 breeds of dogs are usually presented at the show, all participants must be winners of world competitions, giving the right to participate in the "Kraft". Such high demands on the contestants are not accidental: the event is always attended by members of the royal family, the BBC broadcasts it live for two hours, and the breeder of the winning dog becomes literally a national hero of the British for the next few weeks!
Up to 100 thousand people usually come to "Kraft", famous dog handlers from all over the world meet here. At the exhibition you can not only see dogs of all stripes and buy any accessories for four-legged fashionistas, but also watch the dog competition in a special kind of sport, "agility". The first agility demonstration performances were held in 1978. Under the guidance of the handler, the dog must temporarily overcome the course, which includes barriers, walls, obstacles with touch zones, tunnels and slalom.
Only the dogs participating in the Pawprint dog fashion show in Florida can compete with the Kraft participants in beauty. Here the four-legged "haute couture" in the best outfits come out on the catwalk! The purpose of the fashion project is to raise funds for charity.
