Similar parades, by the way, are also held in Russia, the USA and Europe. The very first zombie parade is said to have taken place in Toronto back in 2003. As you know, "Resident Evil" was filmed in Toronto, and local residents took part in the crowd scene, including in the role of zombies. Apparently, the beloved roles of the living dead inspired the actors so much that they did not want to part with the image even after the shooting was over. So the "experienced zombies" entered the streets of Toronto, and then this "virus" spread to other countries and continents.
In New York, such a parade takes place every year in Manhattan and is called Zombiecon, in Frankfurt - Zombie Walk, in the Czech Republic - in its own way, and in Russian-speaking countries these events are called zombie mobs. Like flash mobs, zombie mobs are born on social networks, so everyone who wants to dress up as zombies, douse themselves with "blood" and hang out around the city, frightening people, should more often follow updates in the corresponding groups of adherents of horror films and other post-apocalypticism.
Of course, local authorities are suspicious and wary of such parades. You never know for sure what the starving wild zombies will get into their heads, whether they will attack people, and whether people themselves, who sharply negatively perceive such events, will not attack the zombies themselves. In addition, adherents of the cult of death, Satanists and other fanatics can easily join the infernal processions. So the zombie mobs are always accompanied by the security forces, and not in vain.
