Designers love to create smaller copies of regular buildings. Either a puppet mansion will be built, or a fairy house will be designed. For example, Canadian carpenter John Looser furnished his entire front lawn in Toronto with bird houses. Do you know how much Victorian birdhouses are for the people today?

The 46-year-old carpenter John Loser used to build houses for people. He had to switch to feathered clients after an accident. Constant musculoskeletal pain and insomnia after the accident are terribly pestering John. The illness forced him to quit his job in construction. But John did not want to sit idly by. Moreover, I had 20 years of carpentry experience behind my shoulders. They were not in vain, and, thinking: "It was not!" - the master was retrained as an architect of birdhouses.

The bird carpenter says that a new interesting activity helped him to distract himself and, immersed in work, at least temporarily forget about the terrible pains. Bright roofs, high turrets, palace wings, funny outbuildings - what is there not. And on the roof or next to the house - there is always a Canadian flag: birds are also patriots!

John works 8-10 hours a day on masterpieces of nesting architecture. Artistic experiments resulted in the construction of mini-buildings in different styles. The master's works reflected the trends of the Victorian era and other trends in European architecture. So these bird houses can be easily exhibited in museums, but it is better, of course, to be used for their intended purpose. For example, the largest building by John Loser can house 103 bird pairs - a whole bird dormitory!

It takes days and even weeks of work to create such a chorus. But what a pleasure it is to watch the birds dive through the windows (or rather doors?) Of luxurious mansions, which are equipped with everything necessary for raising offspring. Mostly sparrows and swallows live in John's houses. But the author of bird palaces claims that he can design a comfortable building for feathered guests of any kind.

Gradually, a bird town of unusual mansions grew, and not only the neighbors were surprised at the strange buildings on John's lawn. Soon almost the whole world learned about the creations of the skilled carpenter. In any case, there was no hang-up from orders: both Europeans and Australians liked the beautiful birdhouses.

Bird mansions cost from 200 to 2,500 dollars. The author accepts orders and exhibits photographs on the Extreme Birdhouse website.
