What do most people do when they drink coffee? That's right, throws away a plastic or paper cup. Although, perhaps, it is not so correct. For example, the American artist Gwyneth Leach has been collecting paper cups from which she had a chance to drink coffee or tea, and paints them with funny patterns over the past few years. And then he brags about the results of his work in front of the audience.
Gwyneth Leech came up with a simple idea to paint a paper cup 4 years ago. Since then, the artist does not throw away these disposable dishes, but writes down what kind of drink was poured into it, where it was drunk and when. Gwyneth Leach says that this is her answer to statuses and other moments on social networks. You can tweet: "I'm drinking coffee", or you can design this message artistically, which is what a New Yorker does.
The art report on the coffee and tea drunk by the artist is constantly updated, and you can contemplate the painted disposable cups 24 hours a day. In addition, Gwyneth Leach collects photographs of her installation, taken by different people: professionals and amateurs. It is from these pictures that our selection consists.
