Video: Street art on the streets of Melbourne. Creativity Miso

The creative career of a resident of Melbourne Miso has already been five years old, although the Australian herself is only twenty-one. The girl is engaged in street art, but it would be wrong to call her work ordinary graffiti: Miso creates all his drawings in the studio, and then glues the finished ones on the city walls.
Miso does not need to sign her works: her author's style is unique, unrepeatable and at the same time easily recognizable. These are mainly female figures with patterned elements in clothing. An interesting technique that the author often refers to is the arrangement of the figures symmetrically on both sides of the entrance. Miso says that doors are designed to serve a rather mundane function, letting people in and out of a building. But every entrance and exit can be turned into a small event by decorating the walls by the doors with original drawings. By the way, this idea was inspired by the work of Russian constructivists.
Miso has a myriad of sources of inspiration. Photos, drawings, passers-by on the streets, reading, music … The girl confesses her special interest in Eastern European fairy tales and folk songs, Greek mythology and Russian literature. According to Miso, she became interested in street art from the age of 14: at first she watched the work of other authors, then gradually mastered the subtleties of drawing herself … It is noteworthy that the girl does not give any characteristics and descriptions of her work. “I am much more interested in hearing from viewers how they perceive and evaluate my work,” says Miso.
Another interesting fact about the artist. In fact, Miso's name is Stanislava Pinchuk, and the first years of her life were spent in Ukraine. Hence the love for Eastern European folklore, uncharacteristic for most of the indigenous people of Australia. Currently, the girl works in the same studio with her boyfriend Ghostpatrol, also a street art representative. Miso's works can be seen not only on the streets of Melbourne, but also in exhibition halls: the author also creates ordinary drawings and installations.
