A long time ago, the masters of graffiti and street art were no longer called vandals and hooligans. Ever since they realized that high-quality art can easily go beyond the studio and be placed on the nearest concrete or brick fence, stone wall, facade of a panel house, metal partition of a bus stop. This world needs more colors and vivid impressions. And in Brazil, a responsible artist named Claudio Ethosknown for his surreal street art on the streets of Sao Paulo. Graffiti is just a part of that huge art world called street art. This includes street installations, performances, and appliqués on the walls, which are often confused with graffiti … And our artist does an excellent job with both appliqués and graffiti, performing the former in his own studio and complementing them with the latter on the spot.
Claudio Ethos depicts unknown animals and fantastic characters on the walls, at the same time reminiscent of both Salvador Dali's drawings and some of the works of the famous art terrorist Banksy, about whom we once wrote on the site, and which all young street masters refer to. art. Banksy probably has such a strong charisma that he inspires artists around the world, becoming the pioneer of a new branch of contemporary street art and the "leader" of a whole galaxy of talented artists.
Just like Banksy, Claudio Ethos is not limited to the walls of his hometown. He loves to travel, and in every city he leaves his mark in the form of wall art, which surprises, decorates and delights. Claudio's works often take part in international exhibitions around the world. The artist's last solo exhibition, entitled "Concreto", took place in the USA, at the Christopher Henry Gallery in New York. You can see everything with your own eyes on the artist's personal website.
