Someone's parents leave a property, a car or a bank account as an inheritance, and a British artist Patrick Bremer his father inherited his creative talent. So, Patrick grew up in a family where his father was an artist and art teacher, and he, of course, primarily influenced the work of his son. Then, when the sister of the young artist met a guy who was fond of the work of Iron Maiden, he, with bated breath, looked at the album covers of the group, the author of which was the famous Derek Riggs. Probably, it was then that the first brick of the creative personality of Patrick Bremer was laid. The artist is not yet 30 years old, and behind him is an impressive portfolio of a wide variety of works, including painting, drawing - and collages. Destroy in order to then create from scraps and debris something new, even more alive and beautiful - all this is about collages from the pages of newspapers, books, magazines and simply scribbled and painted sheets of paper created by Patrick Bremer.

Like the painters he admires, the artist tries to "paint" with scraps of paper, laying each of them as if it were a brushstroke. With such "strokes" he paints portraits of children, men, women, silhouettes and abstract figures, as well as birds and animals.

It's funny, but this kind of creativity captivated Patrick quite by accident. As they say, misfortune helped. So, in the artist's creative studio it is very cool and cute, but too cold in winter, and some of the works "moved" to his home. But painting houses with paints, which then leave marks on the furniture, and the smell firmly eats into clothes, is not an option. And then old newspapers and magazines fell under the "distribution", from which the first collage-portrait was created - the artist's nephew, a kid named George.

Today the artist already has a sufficient number of collage-portraits that can be shown in his own gallery, and fans of his work will find the author's website at this address.
