Many designers have tried to wrestle with wires, and many have managed to create a number of good designs that solve this perennial problem. However, I haven’t heard about the drawings on wires yet …

The designer Christoph Niemann called his project “My life with wires” for a reason. It contains a series of photographs showing people, apartments, furniture and, of course, wires. Among them, we can see all aspects of our life where wires are involved. And in each drawing, the designer managed to convey the most important thing - how these same wires and cables annoy us. Earlier, telephones were with wires, and some still use them, which is terribly inconvenient. Then the headphones on the player are always confused, and this is really very annoying.

Some (for example, as the designer admits, he himself) also has an eternal mess on the table - there are wires from a computer, monitor, printer, scanner, speakers, lamps … Of course, extension cords help us here, but the wires get tangled anyway. And this, too, we can see in the figures. Although this is just a set of small sketches + wires, the work is fun and cute. And most importantly - they convey the mood perfectly!

The designer, nevertheless, is sure that the current and future generations, thanks to various gadgets and devices, will be spared this eternal problem simply because almost all technology today is wireless. But he is sure that people of that generation will have a great excuse to tell their grandchildren about how they suffered with wires. And kids will listen and wonder - and why didn't people immediately think of wireless devices? They are some kind of stupid, these adults …
