Young Australian artist Tiffany Singh presented at the 18th Biennale in Sydney a surprisingly gentle, melodic and very romantic installation, which cannot be talked about without a dreamy smile. Hundreds of multi-colored ribbons of different lengths, decorated with bamboo bells, known as "wind chimes", impressed not a single visitor of the exhibition.
The installation not only looks gentle and romantic. The author gave her an equally graceful, poetic name Knock On The Sky Listen To The Soundwhich means "Knock on the sky, listen to the sounds." Tiffany Singh invites every visitor to the Biennale to become an accomplice in this art project by knocking on the sky and listening to sounds. To do this, you should choose a ribbon to your liking and decorate it with one out of a thousand bells you like. Thus, another melodic performer will be added to the "wind chime" orchestra, who will complement the symphony with the magic of his individual sound.
The Knock On The Sky Listen To The Sound exposition will be on display at the Biennale until mid-August. The author will then transport her to Kokatu Island.
