From November 1 to November 7, a street art festival was held in the southern town, where even in late autumn it is not cold to wear a T-shirt and shorts. Hundreds of artists with a tail came to the competition to see 200 thousand tourists, which is 4 times more than the city's population.
In Sarasota, the Cretaceous period came for a week, and the local Burns Square turned into an open-air gallery, on the walls of which new chalk drawings appeared. Artists copied masterpieces of painting and created original works, flat images and three-dimensional chalk drawings. The geography of the participants is also impressive: in addition to Americans from all over the country, artists from Italy, Holland, Spain and Japan came to Sarasota.
