What do women of fashion look like at 119 and what do they wear? 37-year-old model Amber Valletta traveled back in time, depicting the same age as the last century, in love with fashion and equally slender at 30, 60, or 100 years old. Each decade was marked by a new photo, a new make-up and a new costume - in accordance with the then fashion. The captions under the fashion photographs briefly inform what is happening in the world and the life of the heroine, and in a much more detailed way tell what the model is wearing. The first snapshot is 1929: there is nothing left before the Great Depression, but no one knows about it yet.
Steven Klein's creative fashion photography is a journey into the past and the future at the same time. You say it doesn't work like that? But the bottom line is that the surroundings for the pictures are taken mainly from the historical past, and the talented model Amber Valletta looks to her own future, in common parlance. Aging beautifully and in line with the latest fashion trends.
For example, the caption to a 1947 fashion photo says that pregnancy does not allow our heroine to wear fashionable dresses in the style of new bow. The flower woman who swallowed the ball? Excuse me, Christian Dior's feminine silhouette takes a wasp waist. What a blow from a classic! Although not a reason to give up secular life.
The photo shoot titled “One For the Ages” was filmed for the September issue of W-magazine. Of course, in order to see and feel how fashion has developed over the course of 90 years, no human life is enough. But the desire to embrace the immense and even slightly look into the future (the last picture is dated 2019) won out common sense, and the authors of the photo session had to "slightly" lengthen the heroine's age.
The transformation from a young flapper woman to a glamorous grandmother takes place against the backdrop of important historical events such as Black Tuesday (1929) and Edward VIII's intention to marry Wallis Simpson (1936). But no less important events in the fashion world like the birth of the new look style (1947) and the controversy over corsets (1958).
In addition, the captions under the stylish photographs briefly mention the heroine's own successes and failures. And now and then the Dorian Grays are running around, whom they don’t take for years (strange, but for some reason they always walk in twos).

We are all familiar with the Scandinavian style - light shades, natural wood, comfort and democracy, interiors that have come down from the pages of IKEA catalogs. But several centuries before the advent of IKEA, the Swedish monarch Gustav III wanted to create a local Versailles - but the treasury was empty, and the natural conditions were harsh. It was then, in the distant 18th century, that the prototype of the fashionable Scandinavian style appeared - the "Gustavian style"

Rather, they are people immersed in the ether, who appear before us in an extreme degree of purity and harmlessness
