Every time, looking at the sculptural works of the Dutchman Ferry Staverman, you look at them in a new way and see what was previously hidden from your view. It is difficult to say what the artist imagined. It features whimsical jewelry, dresses, trees, cacti and even modern skyscrapers. Just a whole shake up for the imagination!
Ferry Staverman creates his architectural wonder sculptures from paper, cardboard and rope. That's all his creative material. The artist uses repeating shapes to recreate three-dimensional sculptures, which are then "tied" with a thin thread.
The sculptural works of Ferry Staverman vary greatly in size: from the smallest, which can be placed on a table in the form of decorations, to huge installations 5 meters high, which look like trees.
More cardboard sculptural installations by Ferry Staverman can be seen in the gallery.

Animals, cacti and question marks: bright drawings by Sabrina Scott
