Video: Candles, Drunk Drivers and Global Warming: Photo Manipulations by Ferdi Rizkiyanto

The new work of graphic designer Ferdi Rizkiyanto, known for his advertising prints for large international companies and his participation in several social projects, looks like a photograph of an intricate candle wax sculpture. Of course, the secret of an incredible image is in the magic of numbers, but it still looks impressive.
One of the curious features of human perception is that we tend to see faces and figures in almost any abstract form: clouds, coffee grounds, random stains and prints, including the streaks of wax on the sides of a burning candle. With the help of computer graphics, designer Ferdi Rizkiyanto has found a visual solution that indulges the tendency of our minds to anthropomorphism, and brings the mental game "find the little man" to its logical conclusion.
Rizkuanto's unnamed work depicts a lighted candle flanked by miniature wax figures trying to find a way to cope with the disaster. Several men in business suits are propping up a candle from below under the sight of the lens of a paraffin photojournalist, and two more are climbing up, apparently in the hope of capturing the epicenter of events.
Ferdi Rizcuanto is a successful Indonesian graphic designer specializing in realistic digital images for advertising and social projects. Rizcuanto's clients include many internationally renowned commercial companies, including Coca-Cola, Samsung, Red Bull, KitKat and Hugo Boss. But the designer, who is seriously concerned about the welfare of our planet, is especially pleased with orders for social advertising.
Ferdy calls the poster "Time" for a project to educate the public about the threat of global warming as his favorite work of his entire career. “In addition to the undeniable importance of the message itself, the process of creating this particular work helped me significantly improve my professional skills and taught me to pay close attention to small details,” recalls Rizcuanto.
Another popular designer's work is the "Drink and Drive" poster, in which the road surface is wrapped in a pretzel in the air, demonstrating how alcohol distorts the driver's perception. The advertising campaign is accompanied by the slogan “When you decide to drink and drive” and emphasizes that road accidents involving drunk drivers are not an accident, but the result of a deliberate decision.
The better the advertisement, the more sales. But, perhaps, the most win-win combination is a beautiful and witty advertisement. Top 10 funniest advertising campaigns in the TOP-10 most original advertising material.
