The beauty of the human body is undeniable. And it doesn't matter who is in front of you: a man, a woman, a child or an old man. Each of them is beautiful in its own way. Flowers occupy the second place in terms of attractiveness. Indoor, garden, field - all have their own charm. And if you combine the beauty of the human body and flowers, you get the collection of ceramic busts "Viral Series" by Jess Riva Cooper.
On a white smooth surface, the artist let out an unobtrusive ligature of leaves, buds, blossoming flowers. Vegetation replaces hair, cosmetics, jewelry for models. Each figure is literally covered with olive branches, roses, wild ivy. Moreover, each bust is so distinctive that it can be viewed for hours.
Jess Riva Cooper came up with the idea of creating an unusual collection while visiting the abandoned districts of Detroit. The dilapidated houses, entwined with a hedge, so amazed the artist that he could not come to his senses for a long time. As a creative person, he imagined that every abandoned house has a soul that suffers alone.
Later, he decided to give the abandoned area a second life by embodying it in ceramics. The artist depicted buildings in the form of people entwined with plants. From the side it can be seen that the leaves clogged in the mouth bring discomfort to the models. But since they have no hands, they cannot remove the leaves. Therefore, people are left to humbly submit to their share. As well as dilapidated houses from Detroit. The sculptural composition "Relations in Time", which depicts the young Chinese sculptor Tin Lun Li and his wife, looks no less interesting. Here the artist shows that love is not subject to time, and the beloved woman will forever remain young and beautiful in his memory.

Original busts of Scott Fife: volumetric cardboard products
Is it possible to turn an old cardboard box into a work of art (a TV costume for a New Year's party in kindergarten does not count)? American sculptor Scott Fife can do it - he makes amazing cardboard busts. All that is needed in order to create beauty is skillful hands and a trained eye. And materials can be the most ingenuous: cardboard, screws, glue
Instead of busts of politicians - busts of characters from Futurama. Realistic sculptures by Ray Lin
I remember that a bust of Taras Shevchenko stood on the cabinet in the study of the Ukrainian language and literature of my school. The shelf with books in the study of the Russian language and literature was decorated with a statue of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin. And on the table at the "Englishwoman" was, of course, a plaster of paris William Shakespeare. I don't know if busts of classics of Russian and foreign literature, playwrights, musicians or famous politicians are now being sold in stores, but some cartoon characters will certainly enter
