Someone may love the Star Wars movie and, to put it simply, be a fan of all six parts, someone may consider the film stupid and not worthy of attention, and also not worth spending hours in front of the screen for it, but everyone will agree that the Star Wars movie has always been popular. This is evidenced by the huge number of sold souvenirs, toys, as well as ongoing events and projects dedicated to this film and its immortal characters.

From February 13 to March 3, 2009, the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will host an exhibit called The Vader Project, featuring 100 helmets from all of our famous Star Wars character Darth Vader.

The Vader Project is a redesign of the iconic Darth Vader helmet by some of today's popular surrealist artists, designers and sculptors. They were each given a replica of the Darth Vader helmet model that was used in the Star Wars movie. Each helmet served as a blank board for artists who painted it, decorated it, and altered it to the extent of their imagination.

Project Vader premiered at Star Wars Celebration IV in Los Angeles in May 2007. It provided artists with the opportunity to use one of the iconic subjects of the cult film as a canvas to embody and express their creativity.
