Who can honestly answer the question - how often does he use the stairs in the house? Almost all houses, with the possible exception of five-story buildings, now have elevators. So we were completely lazy that we stopped walking the stairs. And the designers are pushing us to this. Only in their own ways.
For example, the Dutch architecture firm Krijn de Koning proposed to literally draw attention to the staircase in the house, because it was high time to do it. Although, of course, this is no longer just a ladder. Rather, one part of it remains washed off as usual, but the second … The fact is that the staircase seems to be divided into two parts. And this second part is not designed for carts and strollers at all, it also has steps. And you can go down the usual stairs, wide, or you can go along this small one. Going down, you will find yourself in a small corner, as if a separate world.
Although this room is more reminiscent of the labyrinth, of course. Nevertheless, as can be judged from the photographs, it will be possible to go out into the street along these stairs. Since this project is an installation, you shouldn't bother about its practicality and convenience - the idea itself is much more important here. After all, if in our houses instead of stairs there were such labyrinths, hardly anyone would use them, you can get lost here, even in your own house …
