If you open articles on the American Indians on the Wikipedia website, you can see there photographs of the early 20th century. There are very few modern photographs. And not because the Indians themselves are gone, but because today's photographers, apparently, are not interested in them. But here are British photographers Pedro Aguilar and Mike diver created an impressive series of photographs called Native American (so in the United States it is now customary to call the Indians).

Around us live a huge number of original and extraordinary people, whom we just used to not notice. Whole nations seem to live outside the borders of Civilization, albeit inside it. In our latitudes, these are gypsies, and in the United States of America - Indians.

And the life of Gypsies, Indians and other peoples leading a way of life that is very different from what we are used to is an inexhaustible storehouse of knowledge, types and culture. And only now people of art began to rediscover them for themselves and for the world.

An example is at least a series of photos of Gipsy Kings Ghettographik Portraits by the Spaniard Bruno Paixao, where he showed the world modern gypsies, or Native American from the British Pedro Aguilar and Mike Diver, who tell us about the American Indians.

Photos by Pedro Aguilar and Mike Diver show the modern American Indians as they are today. Of course, there are still a number of old people and very few young people who remember their cultural origins and honor them, but the vast majority of Indians have long switched to English and American culture, while not in the best version of both.

In the USA, Spain and other countries, whole peoples and cultures are dying, wiped off the face of the Earth, and no one cares about this. This is what Pedro Aguilar, Mike Diver, Bruno Paixao and other people who care about it tell us. And who knows, maybe in a few decades our descendants will know about the same Indians only from photographs from the Native American series and films based on the works of Fenimore Cooper.
