The statistics are strict and ruthless: since mobile phones became so accessible that iPhones are even in the briefcases of first-graders, more and more accidents have occurred precisely because of the general "mobilization". For many young drivers, it has already become customary to drive a car and at the same time chat in ICQ, check mail or text messages. They are sure that they can type and send an answer in a couple of seconds, and during this time nothing terrible will happen. Alas, they often make mistakes, paying for the mistake with their health, the health of other people, and maybe with human lives. No SMS while driving! - encourages social advertising campaign from FocusDriven … The creative part of the advertising campaign, which was initiated by the public organization FocusDriven, was handled by the art studio Team One. Designers have developed three versions of posters with text emoticons LOL, OMG and:) - symbols of Internet correspondence. However, they are drawn not by pixels on the smartphone screen, but by flowers, toys and memorial candles - as a sign of deep sorrow for the victims of road accidents.
Each poster contains information for thought, formatted as an SMS message. "Drivers who are distracted by correspondence are twice as likely to get into accidents", "24% of all accidents are caused by scattered and distracted drivers", and "No conversation can be more important than safe traffic" - this is what they strive to convey up to people creative advertising posters with emoticons. More details - on the website of the public organization FocusDriven.
