The organizers of the auction expect to raise at least 580 thousand rubles. Experts set the upper bar at 700 thousand rubles. Lermontov dedicated his poem "Spring" to his first love - Ekaterina Sushkova. In total, 11 poems of the poet were dedicated to Sushkova. According to the memoirs, the young lady asked the poet to compose a poem for her that would be realistic.
